It seems funny that directly after I promise to blog alot more often my best intentions dwindle to latency and sadly nearly a month with no post. Maybe it was all the negative respons I garnered from my hate list. Oddly enough the things I love got no where near the same interest which was kind of my point to begin. I digress.
The reason why I have shuked my previous decision to write a whole lot more is I have been focusing more on photography and design. Mostly because it is easier that writing as in there is no spelling and grammer involved. Another notch on the photo belt is that I am way better at it than I am at writing.
Well you might ask where are the fruits of my labour where are these photos and designs I have been pouring my entire being into. Why they are on flickr of course. I had never used flickr before because I had started on Photo bucket and just wanted to stay where I started instead of jumping ship. Then I started using face book and their photo capabilities which I filled up and was frustrated with. Although its great I didn't want to delete the pictures that are already on their. The reason I did however turn to flickr was because I needed a fresh start for my fresh project.

A photo a day... would happen on flickr.com. Start to finish.
And now to explain the project a little more longwindedly. I started to realize that I was taken photos in stints. I would go about a week take a bunch of photos and then not take anymore for another week. This was great and was satiating my creative needs but I wanted a little more constant photo deliciousness. Without the up and downs. I wanted to undertake something huge and so A photo a day... was born. I will take pictures everyday. Even if I don't want to I will force myself to at least take one photo.

On september 30 I started and now just over two weeks later there are 16 pictures on the site and as per definition it grows everyday. Although I don't upload everyday I am taking pictures, I am sticking to my guns and the pay off is immediate. I have found that the pictures tend to differ from one another drstically and this is probably my favorite thing about the whole project. The diversity of the photos taken.

Since I am not taking my pictures in a batch process any longer they do not seem to be homoginized into large groups. To be overly anal and point out that although I do still take large batches I am still only picking one photo to represent that group. For instance at the manvils show I took well over 200 pictures but chose my favorite one out of the huge selection. Another bad part of the project is that it is sometimes hard to pick one photo as in the night shot photo I really like most of the photos I took but still chose one. In the past however I would focus on said night shot group and it would be my artistic foder for weeks but now I have forced myself to move on and push forward.

I don't know what will happen to my project in the end or if I will even be able to finish it. What if I get hit by a car? Well I guess I could take pictures of my twisted broken body but that would probably be gross because my body is not much to start with in its unbroken state. I wouldn't mind making a book of the photos but at 365 pages could be expensive. Any body with too much money out there. Financial backer with cigar, white mustache and a pinstripe suit wanted. Must have expanse of disposable income to pay for artists whims. No sex, dirty talk or anything gross just the personal satisfaction of making a rad boys awesome dream come true.
